Korea - A Country full of Seoul

On our way to Japan, my dad, my uncle, our buddy, and myself took a stop in Seoul for 48 hours. With such a short layover in a major city, we essentially woke up early the morning and walked in the cold and the rain throughout the city from the Itaewon district. We headed mostly north toward Gyeongbokgung Palace, passing the Sungnyemun Gate along the way. We summited Seoul Tower before heading to Gangnam for dinner. While this was our "layover" during out Tokyo Series journey, Seoul had plenty to offer with great food and mix between ancient and modern feels. It's a great place to visit if you are looking to experience Asian culture without feeling too overwhelmed in a new continent.
